Charlemagne Wine Club - 2012 Tastings

Affordable Bordeaux
presented by Christos Ioannou

Bordeaux en primeur prices for the last two vintages have rocketed and the top Classed Growths have become unaffordable to all but the super-rich. And even some Cru Bourgeois are commanding prices that would have been unthinkable a few years ago. So if we want to carry on enjoying the delights that Bordeaux has to offer where do we go? Is it possible to find good Bordeaux at affordable prices and is there still value to be had from this region?

Christos will be showing a couple of dry whites, a few reds and a sweet white to finish. After which you can decide whether Bordeaux is still affordable or not!
