Tuscany v Piedmont: The Battle of the Giants with Alivini Wines

This month we welcome Maurizio Priolo of Alivini wines to tell us what makes Tuscany and Piedmont such great wine making regions, illustrated of course with some great wines.

Alivini were founded in 1975 to promote the best wine and food that Italy has to offer, so they know something about it by now. There'll be indigenous white grapes, reds from Barbera and Bolgheri, Nebbiolo and Sangiovese, rounding off with some lovely examples of Barolo and Brunello which should be drinking perfectly now.
