With summer on the horizon (perhaps!), our June tasting will aspire to reflect those holiday memories of sitting in the hills among the fruit groves, or relaxing by the shore of the Mediterranean with a nice glass of something refreshing and a full plate of local delicacies.
As the sun glints off the shimmering waters on to the shores of Spain, France, Italy, Greece and Crete, Lebanon and Morocco (and maybe a few others) we are assembling a large tasting case of carefully curated vinous memories, together with a selection of tasty bites foraged from the Mediterranean farms of the Costa del Ealing.
The form of the evening will be as for last year – an informal, “walk around” selection of wines and nibbles, seated, with a free discussion supported by a few printed notes on the wines.
All of this at the regular tasting fee of £25. We will be buying 2 bottles of each wine so bring your wine and foodie friends. Nick and David don’t want to be stuck with surplus bottles!
