When the hectic celebrations of Easter have receded and you’re looking to wind down, why not spend some “chill” time looking for wine treats that you’d like to enjoy.
We’re planning the line up for the June “Walk Around” tasting and your input will add to the variety and success of the evening.
Previous events have centred around northern hemisphere/old world/European producers so we suggest as a broad theme to begin with …… Southern Hemisphere wines. i.e. Australia; New Zealand; South Africa and South America, (Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Brazil and others). Other countries may be available ….. Peru?

Please take a look through the lists of these three online merchants to see if anything sparks your interest and tickles your tastebuds. We will then compile your suggestions into a number of orders from these suppliers, for the tasting.
We will try to group orders to minimise delivery charges and make use of discounts where available. We will only be purchasing 2 bottles of each wine.
This is not to exclude other regular, favourite sources like The Wine Society, Waitrose, other supermarkets or local merchants, but we thought we might try to explore some different providers in greater depth, and it makes the logistics more manageable as neither Nick nor David are always in London to receive deliveries or visit merchants.
However, if you’d prefer to widen the vista to other countries or merchants please tell us. The bottom line is to get a good range of wines and some good foods to complement them.
On the matter of food matching: if you do have any food/wine combinations you particularly enjoy and would like to suggest, please let us know.
Costwise, we hope to maintain our normal fee of £25 for this tasting so your suggestions should not be too expensive, say £30 max/per bottle, but there’s great value in the less expensive too.
