Happy New Year, we hope you had a relaxing and enjoyable Christmas, with some good wines to go with it.
We start 2026 with David sharing with us some lovely wines from South America. Here’s what he’ll be presenting….
Our first tasting of the new year takes us on a trip around Chile’s wine regions to sample a selection of grape varieties from newer and established producers, and there will also be a short hop across the hills to Patagonia in Argentina.
There will be Chardonnay, “Chile meets Puligny-Montrachet“ says Tim Atkin MW.
There will be Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenère.
There will be the Italian influence and also ”the World’s Best Vineyard” – we’ll let you be the judges on that!
